01What you're subscribing to

SkinCloud offers tiered, auto-renewing in-app subscriptions that expand the number of encrypted clinical photos you can store in the app. All subscriptions are processed by Apple through your Apple Account; SkinCloud does not handle payment information.

TierPhoto limitMonthlyYearly
Free50
Starter1,000€4.99€49.99
Plus10,000€12.99€129.99
Pro100,000€24.99€249.99

Local pricing in your region is shown by Apple at the moment of purchase. Apple may apply local VAT or sales tax in addition to the prices listed above.

02Free trial

The Plus monthly plan offers a 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers. The trial converts to a paid subscription at €12.99 per month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. You can cancel any time from your Apple Account settings on the App Store. Apple enforces eligibility — the trial is available once per Apple ID.

03Auto-renewal & cancellation

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal charges are applied within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions any time at Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on iOS.

04Upgrades and downgrades

Changing between paid tiers is handled by Apple as a "Change Plan" within the same subscription group. Upgrades (e.g. Starter → Plus) take effect immediately and are prorated by Apple. Downgrades (e.g. Plus → Starter) take effect at the end of the current paid period.

05What happens to your data when a subscription ends

If your subscription expires or is cancelled and you return to the Free tier with a photo count above 50, SkinCloud does not delete your photos. You keep full read access to every photo, session, and patient record you have created. You will not be able to upload additional photos until you re-subscribe or delete enough photos to fall under your tier's limit.

Photos are deleted only when you explicitly delete them inside the app, delete a patient, or delete your account. The "Delete my account" action is irreversible — photos cannot be recovered after that point, even by us.

06Refunds

All refund requests are processed by Apple. We have no ability to issue refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and select your SkinCloud subscription. EU consumers retain any non-waivable rights applicable under their local consumer-protection law.

07Restoring previous purchases

Tap Restore Purchases on the in-app subscription screen to re-apply your active subscription on a new device. The entitlement is restored from the Apple ID currently signed into the App Store on that device.

08Acceptable use

SkinCloud is sold to medical professionals for documenting their own clinical practice. You agree not to:

  • Use SkinCloud to store photographs taken without the patient's informed consent.
  • Upload material that you do not have the legal right to process under applicable health-data and privacy law.
  • Resell, sublicense, or expose SkinCloud's interfaces to third parties without prior written authorisation.
  • Reverse-engineer the encryption scheme to extract another user's data, or attempt to circumvent rate limits, audit logs, or storage policies.

Violations of this clause may result in immediate suspension of access. Where suspension affects an active paid subscription, the unused portion is refundable on a pro-rata basis except in cases of demonstrable misuse.

09Disclaimer of warranties

SkinCloud is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular clinical purpose. SkinCloud is a documentation tool — not a diagnostic device, not regulated as a medical device under Regulation (EU) 2017/745, and not a substitute for clinical judgment.

10Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SkinCloud's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid in subscription fees over the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable mandatory law (including liability for fraud, gross negligence, or wilful misconduct).
